Portfolio - Flash & Video
When Flash was first introduced by Macromedia i wasn't that impressed. Then everyone was designing bouncing balls and such. Flash has come a long way! I have been working with Flash for the web since 2000. See more Flash slide shows here.

Rug News
www.rugnews.com
For Rug News I have been working with their advertisers since 2005.

In 2006 and 2007 I also did the present design and color pallet for RugNews including the Flash news ticker.

On site you will see my Flash/design work for KAS, NYICS, United Weavers, Kane and others.

Since 2007 I have also been working with the RugNews HTML email newsletter system on Constant Contact.
RugNews.Com Market Movies

In July 0f 2007 I produced 12 video segments from the July Atlanta Rug Market at America's Mart for RugNews.Com. Production included music, on-location taping, editing and MS Media embedding.

In January 2008 I again produced multiple Market Movies for sponsors, including Paula Deen for Kaleen, Sandra Lee for Feizy and segments from the AmericasMart Magnificent Carpet Awards. Movies were presented as Flash movies embedded into the web pages.
Martha Stuart Rugs
Working with Safavieh, the manufacturer for Martha Stuart Rugs, I developed the Flash files for a one week sale event held at Horchow. From the original Safavieh design PDF files, Illustrator files were generated for Flash, keeping as much of the design in vector format as possible to meet the Martha Stuart stringent file specifications.

Planning for the project involved conference calls with the Martha Stuart web site staff and the Safavieh art department. A banner ad and 2 tower ads were developed to run for a one week stay on the Martha Stuart web site in the "Shop" category.
Cleveland Chamber Wacker Videos
As a part of the news/campaign for the new Wacker facility in Bradley County, Tennessee I worked with the Chamber of Commerce to convert 2 DVD promotional videos to FLV Flash movie files.

I embedded a state of the art Flash movie player into a custom web page on their web site that has a movie selection system using thumbnails for each movie.

There are also controls for moving about in the timeline, play pause, volume control etc.
